At 2026 FunFest: A Night at the Museum, children can explore exhibits and event-specific play zones while grown-ups join in. The Franklin Institute’s family fundraiser takes place on Friday, November 13, from 4:30 to 8 p.m.
FunFest combines time in the museum with play zones created for the event. Adults are welcome to take part alongside children, making the activities a shared option rather than a separate children’s program.
Food will be set out throughout the museum, with kid-friendly bites and small-plate dinner stations as well as options for adults. An open bar will offer specialty cocktails to adult guests. The institute has not named specific exhibits or published a detailed activity schedule for the evening.

Proceeds support The Franklin Institute’s education programs and free or discounted tickets for students and teachers. The museum says more than 160,000 students and teachers visit each year.
The event also serves as an introduction to the institute for families with young children. Alongside individual attendance, the fundraiser offers sponsorship packages that include event tickets; the smallest listed package is $300 for one adult and one child.
