Using the site

You may browse our public event listings and Guides, follow links, and share links to public pages for lawful personal use. Use an account only where you have the legal capacity or the permission required by the rules that apply to you. If you use the site for an organisation, you must have authority to act for it. These terms apply to your use of this website; event organisers and external services have their own terms.

Event information and bookings

We publish researched information to help you discover events and plan visits. Dates, opening hours, admission, accessibility arrangements, booking requirements and programmes can change after a page is checked. An unknown price does not mean free admission, and an event appearing on this site does not guarantee that tickets, places or particular vendors remain available. Check current information with the organiser or venue before making a booking or travelling.

We do not organise the listed events or sell their tickets. A booking, purchase, refund or attendance arrangement made through an external website is between you and the relevant provider. Contact that provider about payment, cancellations, refunds, access requirements or problems at an event. A retained past-event page describes the published edition and is not an announcement of a future edition.

Accounts and information you provide

Give accurate information when creating an account, keep your sign-in details secure, and use only an account you are entitled to access. You are responsible for the activity you authorise through your account. Contact us if you believe someone has used it without permission. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect people, investigate abuse or maintain the service.

Account features use the information needed to provide them, such as your account details, saved events and followed areas. Content you choose to publish in a community area may be visible to other visitors. Avoid posting private information about yourself or anyone else. Community contributions

If you contribute a post, comment or other material, you must have the rights and permissions needed to share it. Keep factual statements accurate to the best of your knowledge and make the context of an opinion clear. Do not submit unlawful material, impersonate another person, harass others, disclose private information without permission, or use contributions for scams or undisclosed spam.

You retain any rights you hold in your contribution. By submitting material for publication, you give us a non-exclusive permission to host, format, display and moderate it as needed to operate this site. We may remove or restrict material that breaches these terms or creates a reasonable risk to visitors or the service. This permission does not transfer ownership of your work to us.

Articles, photographs and automated access

The site’s writing, design and photographs may be protected by copyright or other rights. Individual images and contributed material may belong to their credited creators or publishers. A credit identifies a source; it does not, by itself, grant permission to copy or reuse the material. Follow any specific licence attached to an item and any rights or exceptions that apply under law. You are welcome to share public page URLs.

Automated tools may access public information in accordance with our robots.txt rules, applicable rights and reasonable service limits. Do not bypass authentication, evade security controls, overload the site, or interfere with another person’s use. The availability of a sitemap or llms.txt file does not grant an additional licence to reproduce protected text or photographs.

External websites and services

Links to organisers, maps, ticket providers and other sources are provided to help you take the next step or check information. We do not control those external services. Their content, availability, privacy practices and contractual terms are their responsibility. A link or a listing does not make the provider our representative or imply a commercial partnership.

Availability and responsibility

We aim to keep the site useful and to correct errors that are brought to our attention. The service and its information are provided as available; we cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every published detail remains current. You remain responsible for deciding whether an activity is suitable for your circumstances and for checking important arrangements directly with its provider.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused by an organiser’s actions, an external booking service, a change or cancellation of an event, or reliance on information that should have been confirmed with its source. Nothing in these terms excludes a duty, liability, consumer protection or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. The date shown on this page identifies the current published version. Changes apply to use after they take effect and do not remove rights that already arose under a previous version. Where a change requires additional notice or agreement under applicable law, we will follow those requirements.
