Dallas Public Library categorizes this hour as Early Literacy and says its aim is to help children prepare to read. The bilingual program builds that purpose around more than books.
The listing names stories, songs and rhymes in both Spanish and English—not just a read-aloud. For families choosing an early-literacy activity, the advertised format includes several kinds of language activity.
Library staff are listed as presenters; the event entry does not name an individual storyteller.
