A costume parade and a spooky carousel ride are among the plans for Boo at the Jackson Zoo, a Halloween afternoon event on Saturday, October 31, 2026. The zoo lists games and a photo booth too, while Visit Jackson highlights candy stations, a DJ and food trucks.
A parade without a published start time
The zoo’s event ticket listing offers a mix of activities: visitors can look for the costume parade and photo booth as well as games and the carousel ride. The listing does not say when the parade begins or whether the ride carries an additional event charge, so check with the zoo if either is central to your plans.

A separate Halloween date
The zoo also lists a pumpkin patch on dates before Halloween and a haunted house on October 30. Those are separate listings from the October 31 Boo event, so check their individual details rather than assuming they are part of the same ticket.
