Elena Pinderhughes has worked in settings ranging from Herbie Hancock’s touring band to the composing studio behind American Fiction. At Blue Note Jazz Club, the focus turns to her own work as a bandleader, with an early and a late performance each night.
Pinderhughes plays flute, composes and sings. Raised in the Bay Area and trained at Manhattan School of Music, she has toured with Hancock and Christian Scott aTunde Adjuah and appeared on recordings by Ambrose Akinmusire, Robert Glasper and Esperanza Spalding.
Her work has also taken her beyond jazz recordings: she performed at Coachella with Future and Metro Boomin and contributed to the American Fiction score as part of Laura Karpman’s composing studio. Blue Note describes her instrumental debut as due in fall 2026, placing these shows around a new chapter in her work under her own name.
Those collaborations offer context rather than a forecast for the Blue Note performances. The club has not announced a setlist or accompanying musicians for this engagement.

Blue Note has been a Greenwich Village jazz club since 1981, and its programming also makes room for artists working in soul, hip-hop, R&B and funk. Dinner and drinks are served during concerts at both tables and the bar.
The club’s menu lists dishes including a quinoa-and-bean veggie burger, rigatoni arrabiata and pan-seared salmon; it also lists a separate late-night menu. Nonalcoholic drinks are available alongside the full bar.

Both nights offer the same early-and-late pattern. The early performance has a longer interval between doors and showtime, which may be useful if you want time for dinner before the music.
Everyone needs a ticket. Blue Note identifies its own website and TicketWeb as authorized online sellers. Ticket prices are not listed on the event page; there is also a $20 consumption minimum per person for each show. The event listing says no refunds or exchanges.

Seating is first come, first served. Bar-area seats are limited, with standing room once they are occupied. Parties arriving separately or late are not guaranteed seats together.
The event listing requires groups larger than eight to purchase a group package and warns of surcharges without one. The club’s general FAQ sets the threshold at eight or more, so a party of exactly eight should confirm with the club at [email protected] or 212-475-8592.
