Family Gathering Concert Series brings Viva Knievel to First Avenue
First Avenue’s November 8 Family Gathering Concert Series show features Viva Knievel with Brass Solidarity and School Of Rock. The all-ages gathering is part of a fall series that brings family programming to independent Minneapolis music venues.
Music and activities in one visit
Alongside the concert, families can find a balloon animal artist and a creative hair station. The MNIVA table is planned with coloring sheets, temporary tattoos and stickers, giving children activities to choose from as well as music to hear.
The First Avenue show is one of nine events in the fall series, produced in collaboration with the Minnesota National Independent Venue Association. Other stops have paired different performers with different venues, including a line-dancing event at Animales Barbeque Co. and a show at The Dakota with The Bazillions and MacPhail Ensembles.
