Blackwolf Run is known for golf, but from December through February its Frozen Fairways season offers a different way to spend time outdoors in Kohler. The choices range from ice skating and curling to sledding and snowshoeing, with a few activities limited to daylight.
The activity list includes hiking, patio games, holiday light displays and s’mores by an outdoor fire alongside the skating and curling. Sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and fat-tire biking are permitted only during daylight hours.
That distinction matters when choosing a day: Thursday and Friday openings are in the afternoon, while Saturday and Sunday begin at 10 a.m. The longer Friday and Saturday hours also leave room for an evening visit, although the daylight-only activities must end earlier.

The Frozen Fairways Ugly Sweater Party is a separate December 22 event, outside the regular Thursday–Sunday rhythm. Its afternoon DJ dance party is on the ice, while karaoke takes place in the curling tent. Bring skates if you plan to join the dancing.
Wearing an ugly sweater earns complimentary admission to that party. The offer is specific to the December 22 event, rather than a general discount for the winter season.

The Ugly Sweater Party has its own Tuesday hours, separate from the regular winter schedule.
Overnight resort guests enter free. Day admission is $15 for ages 13 and up and $10 for ages 3–12; children 2 and under enter free.
