The Geneva Lake Women’s Association brings an Old Hollywood-themed dinner fundraiser to Rosewood Dinner Theater, with three ticket tiers that offer different roles in the story.

A fictional Hollywood star’s murder sets the plot in motion at GLWA Murder Mystery in Delavan on November 13, 2026. Guests can pursue clues as detectives or book a character role with information to share as the evening unfolds.
The $125 Guest ticket is for the detective role: holders can question suspects, gather evidence and test alibis. GLWA also describes a quieter approach for those who prefer to watch and listen before drawing conclusions.
For a part in the drama, the $150 CO-STAR ticket assigns a supporting character with clues and secrets, while the $175 STAR ticket offers a featured character woven into the story. The distinction matters when booking: both character tiers involve playing a part and interacting with other participants, rather than solely investigating.
The game has prizes for solving the crime, collecting the most in-game “money” and best dressed, among other achievements. Old Hollywood-inspired clothing is encouraged, but a costume is not required.

Dinner and drinks are included with every ticket. The buffet is planned around a made-to-order pasta station and a carving station with pepper-crusted top sirloin and stout-brined pork. Salad, hot sides and desserts round out the meal; the listed sides include ratatouille, roasted garlic potatoes and Rosewood’s Bavarian sauerkraut.
The organizer describes a live interactive mystery as well as on-screen entertainment. Guests who have dietary questions should contact GLWA before booking.

Ticket sales support the Geneva Lake Women’s Association’s charitable work in Walworth County. The volunteer organization says that work benefits groups including children, families, seniors, veterans and animals.
GLWA began in 1964 as the Lake Geneva Jaycettes, an extension of the Lake Geneva Jaycees. It became independent and adopted its current name in 1986; fundraising and volunteer service remain central to its mission.
