The candy route at Halloween Parade Story Hour stays inside Marion Carnegie Library. On October 29, younger children can come in costume for a story, songs and dancing before parading around the building.
A story hour on the move
The parade follows the reading and music activities, taking children around the library to collect candy. It’s a chance to wear a costume for a library visit that includes movement as well as a story.
The library describes the program as intended for younger children without specifying an age range. Caregivers are welcome, too.
