Follow the clues through Heartland Country Corn Maze’s 2026 eagle
Finding the exit is only part of the challenge at Heartland Country Corn Maze. In 2026, the 11-acre maze southeast of Harrisburg takes the shape of a bald eagle for America’s 250th birthday, with a clue hunt built into the walk.
A map, ten answers and one hidden stop
Visitors navigate with a maze map and a list of questions, looking for ten checkpoints where the answers are posted. There’s a separate hidden checkpoint, too: find it and you can claim a free treat from the Concession Barn.
The venue estimates that most people spend about an hour completing the maze. It also offers a concession barn, a shade tent with seating and portable restrooms, so visitors can pause before or after their walk.

A new animal for the anniversary
The eagle continues a run of animal designs in the maze’s archive, but adds a national anniversary to the subject. The 2025 maze featured a jackrabbit; the 2024 design was a sea turtle.
Visitors can also choose an after-dark outing during the posted hours. The paths have no lighting, however, so the venue asks anyone expecting to be in the maze after dark to bring a flashlight.
