Costumed dogs share the bill with canine competitors at Howl-O-Ween at Rising Tide on October 31, 2026. The brewery’s tasting room hosts a day of Dockdogs events and a costume contest and parade for dogs of all sizes.
Two ways to take part in the dog-centered day
The Dockdogs program runs from Big Air waves into an afternoon Extreme Vertical competition and Big Air finals. For spectators choosing when to come, the early waves offer multiple chances to watch, while the afternoon brings the costume contest and the later competitions.
The costume contest welcomes dogs of all sizes, with categories for an individual dog and a dog-and-owner duo. Other prizes recognize funny, spooky and Maine- or brewery-themed entries. Owners can dress up their dogs, themselves or both; YETI and Turtlebox are listed as costume-contest prize providers.

A brewery gathering with food and oysters
Alongside the competitions, Rising Tide lists food from Ugly Duckling and oysters from Ebenecook Oysters. Local vendors are also expected with dog treats, merchandise and other goods.
The event honors Buckingham Red, Rising Tide’s collaboration with Dogfish Head and Brad Leone. Dogfish Head and Rising Tide present the celebration together.
