Intimate House Sessions has a specific Chicago connection: Masada says the weekly gathering was founded by the late Ron Carroll and continues as a tribute to his influence. The Nov. 4 edition brings three named DJs to the recurring house-music night.
Masada describes the series as a Wednesday meeting place for established DJs, emerging talent and house-music listeners. Its stated focus is the relationship between the DJ, dancers and the music, with House, Deep House and Soulful House among the styles associated with the series.
The connection to Carroll gives this recurring night a local frame beyond a general club listing: the venue presents the gatherings as carrying forward the vision of a Chicago house figure. That is the series’ context, not a claim about a particular track or set on Nov. 4.

The Nov. 4 listing names DJ Karl Almaria, Voc Walters and Gene Hunt. Directory tags offer broad points of reference, not a setlist: Do312 labels Almaria Down-tempo / House on his artist page and funky-house on the event card, while its Gene Hunt page uses Disco House. The listing provides no individual start times or running order, and it gives no comparable genre description for Walters.
That leaves the evening’s confirmed detail at the level of the three-DJ bill and the series’ house-music setting. The labels attached to artist pages should not be read as a promise about what any one DJ will play at this edition.
