Saturday, November 21, 2026; class schedule 2:00–8:00 p.m. The individual lesson is 30 minutes; appointment times are not stated.
In a 30-minute lesson at UrbanGlass, participants can try glassblowing with a teaching artist and make an ornament of their own. The November 21 class is open to beginners, with a demonstration before each person chooses the form and colors of their piece.
The demonstration gives participants a look at the process before they make their design choices. UrbanGlass lists optical twists and swirling colors among the possibilities; the individual lesson also covers safety, applying color and using tools.
It is a brief introduction rather than a multi-session course. The studio also offers longer glassblowing classes for people who want more time with the material.

The ornament cannot go home immediately: hot-worked glass must be annealed, or cooled slowly overnight. For this class, UrbanGlass asks students to return once they have been notified that their work is ready.
The studio’s general guidance says hot-glass work is available after five business days or upon notification, and work left uncollected for one month is recycled. Visitors coming from out of town should factor a later pickup into their plans.
