The MOCA Grand Avenue Talking Tour makes room for a different kind of museum visit: looking closely at art with other visitors and a MOCA educator. The November 12 session is one of the museum’s regularly scheduled public tours.
The tour is organized around shared viewing rather than a specified exhibition theme. A MOCA educator facilitates the session, but the museum has not named the educator or identified the artworks the group will discuss on November 12.
MOCA also offers private tours, which can be customized and have a separate fee. Those are distinct from this free public session.

For visitors who want to spend more time in the galleries, In These Times: Recent Acquisitions at MOCA is on view at Grand Avenue through January 3, 2027. It brings together purchases and gifts added to the collection over the preceding five years. The exhibition is an independent option for the visit, not a confirmed subject of the Talking Tour.
Its galleries are organized by themes, including representations of Los Angeles, group portraiture and recent abstract painting. The exhibition includes work by Alex Israel, Sawako Goda and Henry Taylor, among others; MOCA’s digital guide offers more information about the exhibition and featured works.
