Beer goes into the preparation as well as the glass at Oktoberfest: Delta Colonial Hotel. The advertised bratwurst is made in Montana, boiled in beer and grilled to order, then served with sauerkraut and house-made paprika potato chips.
A German-inspired menu with a Montana link
The bratwurst is one of two advertised main dishes. The other is pork schnitzel, breaded and fried and served with brown gravy and herbed butter spätzle. Bavarian-style pretzel bites with beer cheese offer a smaller savory choice.
For dessert, the menu lists crepes with seasonal peaches, vanilla bean mascarpone and raspberry sauce, or a caramel apple tart made with puff pastry and topped with vanilla bean whipped cream. Hofbräu beer is advertised too, though no beer price is given.
