The OLLI Book Sale brings member-donated books, CDs, DVDs and vinyl to Arsht Hall in Wilmington from October 26–30, 2026. The twice-yearly fundraiser benefits the University of Delaware’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
Browsing beyond the bookshelves
Organizers expect thousands of books and hundreds of CDs, DVDs and records. The event listing identifies children’s books, coffee-table books and a few rare books among the selection, though it does not name individual titles.
Most books are $1 or $2, according to the event listing. Rare and children’s books are priced individually, so shoppers interested in those categories should check their prices as they browse.

A member-supported fundraiser
OLLI members donate the books and media, while volunteers help collect, sort, set up and sell them. The sale supports an academic cooperative for adults 50 and older, where participants can take or teach classes, exchange ideas and socialize without exams or educational prerequisites.
The community is invited to shop. The age description applies to the learning program; no age restriction for sale attendees is stated.
