Preschool Storytime at the Jeffersontown library makes room for more than reading aloud. The program combines books with songs, movement and literacy activities as part of the library’s approach to school readiness.
The library’s broad event category includes children from infancy through age 5, but the description of this particular storytime specifies ages 3–5. That narrower range is the useful guide for families deciding whether the program fits their child.
Each listed session lasts 45 minutes. The library describes the mix of activities but does not identify specific books, songs or projects in advance.
