The light parade gives Santa Day – Circle its clearest townwide element: the event page says it will pass through town and places the annual gathering across downtown and community-wide locations. It is listed for Saturday, Dec. 5, 2026, without a single activity address or published itinerary.
Circle takes its name from a circular cattle brand associated with the Mabry Cattle Company. The company established its Circle Ranch headquarters on the Redwater River in 1884, and the town’s community profile describes today’s Circle as oriented toward farming and ranching.
Peter Rorvik arrived in the area in 1905 and opened a store and post office to serve local farmers. In 1914, Circle shifted about half a mile to a new Great Northern Railway station on the branch between Lewistown and Sidney.
