Steven Page’s Annapolis concert is a chance to hear the singer-songwriter outside the band he helped found. He is scheduled to perform at Rams Head On Stage on Monday, December 21, at 8 p.m.
Page helped write and sing Barenaked Ladies songs including “Brian Wilson” and “The Old Apartment.” He left the band in 2009 and has continued as a solo artist, with albums including Page One and Excelsior.
Those records offer a starting point for listeners who know him primarily through the band. Page has also performed in settings ranging from theaters to orchestral concerts, though the lineup and arrangements for Annapolis have not been specified. The songs named here are career context, not a promised setlist.
