Listed for Dec. 18, 2026, in Lanesboro, this companion to Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley shifts attention to the servants as Mr. Wickham disrupts the holiday household.
All times are local to the venue · America/Chicago
At Pemberley, Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam Darcy celebrate Christmas upstairs while servants keep the household running below. The story of The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley begins when Lydia’s husband arrives and unsettles their holiday routine.
The listing places the servants’ work beneath the festivities at the Darcys’ estate. Mr. Wickham’s uninvited arrival—described as drunk and dangerous—interrupts that work and brings the household’s upstairs and downstairs worlds into contact.
That divide gives the plot its class tension, while the listing also points to secrets, tested loyalties and forgiveness. The conflict grows out of an interruption to the servants’ holiday, not simply the gathering upstairs.
