Tram & Treat brings daytime trick-or-treating to Winterthur’s garden
Tram & Treat gives Halloween a garden setting at Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library on Saturday, October 31, 2026. Families are invited to dress up for daytime trick-or-treating, with activities to enjoy alongside it.
A Halloween visit among the gardens
Crafts, games and live music accompany the trick-or-treating. The event is a drop-in rather than a single scheduled performance, so visitors can choose when to arrive during the public hours.
The setting is a naturalistic garden designed by collector and horticulturist Henry Francis du Pont. It covers 60 acres within Winterthur’s 1,000-acre preserve; the institution also houses a museum of American decorative arts and a research library.
