The characters at Trick'R Treat at Shake Rag Alley are meant to be friendly rather than frightening. Children are invited to come in costume and collect Halloween treats at the historic buildings of Mineral Point’s arts center.
Treats among the historic buildings
The Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce describes Trick'R Treat as a local tradition for children of all ages and their families. Its invitation extends to adults who want to dress up, too, so costumes are part of the gathering for more than just the children collecting treats.
The setting is Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts, which also hosts arts and crafts workshops and community events. For Halloween, its historic buildings become the stops where costumed characters hand out treats.
