Nu-Blu’s acoustic sound moves between quick picking and gentler ballads. The group comes to Watertown High School on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, for a 7 p.m. concert presented by the Watertown Concert Series.
Husband and wife Daniel and Carolyn Routh lead the North Carolina-based group: Daniel plays guitar and sings, and Carolyn plays bass and sings. The listed lineup also includes Austin Hefflefinger on banjo and Justin Harrison on mandolin.
The concert listing describes Nu-Blu’s sound as Appalachian, with vocal harmonies and a range that includes both energetic picking and quieter ballads. It does not name the songs planned for Watertown, so listeners can expect a concert centered on that contrast rather than a published setlist.
