At the Will Rogers Wild West Expo Performance Showcase and Dinner, the audience gets a look at three Wild West performance disciplines, while participants have an opportunity to hear from judges. The Friday evening event takes place at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum on October 30, 2026.
A showcase with room for feedback
The showcase invites people interested in trick roping, whip-cracking and pistol spinning to demonstrate their skills in front of an audience. Judges’ feedback is part of the format, making the evening a chance to see performance and assessment together rather than a billed lineup of named acts.
Dinner is part of the evening, though details of the meal and how to reserve a place are not specified. Prospective performers should also check with the museum about how to participate.

A roper’s hometown memorial
The setting connects the showcase to Will Rogers himself: the museum describes him as a roper as well as a writer, actor and vaudeville performer. The wider expo takes place in Claremore, his hometown, during Will Rogers Days.
The memorial opened in 1938, three years after Rogers’ death. Its galleries, theater and library hold material about his life and work; visitors interested in exploring them separately should note that regular museum hours end at 5 p.m., before the evening showcase.
