Pick your night in Vegas race week
November 18–22 brings a Saturday Grand Prix, free downtown music and a very late show at Sphere. Choose the evening you want, then match the ticket to it.

The Las Vegas Grand Prix starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 21. Downtown, the same day's Neon City Festival lineup includes Subtronics, The Fray and Three 6 Mafia. At 11:30 p.m., Backstreet Boys are scheduled to take over Sphere. A good plan for this weekend begins with deciding where you want to be that night.
Race week stretches the possibilities across several days. The Mercedes fan hub opens November 18, the Grand Prix runs November 19–21, and Neon City continues through Sunday, November 22. You can build a trip around the racing, spend an evening downtown for free music, or get close to a show car without buying a circuit ticket.
The catch is access. A team pop-up, a grandstand, a concert inside a race zone and a show at Sphere each come with their own terms. Before comparing prices, decide what you want to see, where you need to be and which date the ticket actually covers. Those three answers will do more for your weekend than a long list of parties.
Put Saturday on the calendar first
For the 2026 Las Vegas Grand Prix, race day is Saturday, November 21. Friday is qualifying. Thursday has two Formula 1 practice sessions. If you're arranging flights or choosing one day at the circuit, make that distinction before buying anything.
The main Formula 1 sessions are scheduled as follows. All times are Las Vegas local time: Pacific Standard Time, UTC−8.
Thursday, November 19: first practice, 4:30–5:30 p.m.; second practice, 8–9 p.m.
Friday, November 20: third practice, 4:30–5:30 p.m.; qualifying, 8–9 p.m.
Saturday, November 21: Grand Prix at 8 p.m., with the timetable’s scheduled window running through 10 p.m.
The timetable can change, and that final window is a schedule rather than a guaranteed finishing time. Keep the official Formula 1 timetable handy when making a dated booking.
Think about the session you would miss most. If that's the race itself, a Thursday ticket won't solve the problem, however attractive its extras look. If seeing the cars on track is your priority and the race result is something you're happy to follow elsewhere, compare the practice-day options on their own merits. A shorter visit can be a deliberate choice.
