Age, stroller and nursing information
Waterloo Park events welcome all ages unless an event says otherwise. Children 2 and under do not need a ticket but must sit on a parent’s lap; children 3 and older need tickets. Strollers are not permitted inside the amphitheater, and there is no stroller parking or storage.
Changing stations are in the women’s restroom at the north end of the venue, the family restroom at the south end, and the gender-neutral restroom in the Waterloo Park Family Pavilion. Nursing parents may breastfeed or pump anywhere in Waterloo Park where they are comfortable.
Reserved seating and requests in advance
Accessible seating requires a reserved ticket designated for an ADA seating area; the number and types available vary by event. Guests with an accessible seat may purchase up to three additional contiguous seats for companions. The park has accessible paths, entrances and seating areas, and accessible restroom stalls.
The designated ADA entrance is at 1401 N. Trinity St. ADA ticket holders may enter there with a companion, caretaker or others in their ticketing party. ADA stalls are available in the restrooms at the north and south ends of the venue.
Sign-language interpreter service is free, but requests must be made at least two weeks ahead. Guests who arrange service pick up tickets at will call, meet the interpreter and are escorted to their seats. Contact [email protected] to make a request.
Trained service animals are allowed under applicable law. Emotional support animals are not permitted.

Know the permitted-items rules
You may bring one factory-sealed water bottle of up to 20 ounces or an empty plastic bottle for refilling; metal bottles are prohibited. A small zip-top bag of snacks is allowed, but other outside food and beverages are not. The venue also lists a small clutch no larger than 4.5 by 6.5 inches, a handheld fan, non-aerosol sunscreen or bug spray, and a beach towel no larger than 30 by 60 inches as permitted.
Cellphone and standard point-and-shoot cameras are generally allowed unless event instructions say otherwise; professional, DSLR and bridge cameras are not. Umbrellas, blankets, lawn chairs and stadium cushions are prohibited, though a small beach towel is permitted. Other prohibited items include weapons, glass containers, outside alcohol, illicit drugs, selfie sticks, laser pointers, skates, wallet chains, ice chests, banners, flyers, inflatables, projectiles, fireworks and festival totems. Animals must be authorized under applicable disability law. There is no onsite item check-in, so leave prohibited belongings elsewhere.
Prescription medication must be presented to medical staff at each entrance gate in its pharmacy-labeled container, showing the prescription, dosage and patient name. Bring only a sufficient supply for the day; inhaled or smoked medication is not allowed unless it is a prescribed inhaler. Over-the-counter medication is allowed in a day’s supply, and medical personnel will verify bottle contents at the entry gates.

Parking, transit and bikes
Use Moody Amphitheater’s address, 1401 N. Trinity St., Austin, TX 78701, when navigating to the concert venue. Waterloo Greenway lists a separate general address for Waterloo Park, 500 E. 12th St. Paid parking is available in nearby garages, including the Capitol Visitors Parking Garage at 1201 San Jacinto Blvd. and Texas Facilities Commission garages between 12th and 17th streets along San Jacinto Boulevard and Trinity Street. The venue recommends approaching the state garages from 15th Street to avoid traffic in the south Red River area. Event-specific rates and availability are not stated.

Entrances and drop-off
The main entrance is on Red River Street between 12th and 15th streets; there is no drive-up access to that gate. Rideshare pickup and drop-off are on the north curb of 12th Street just past Red River. Vehicles can reach the pickup point from northbound Red River or from 12th Street via the I-35 frontage road. The venue advises visitors to expect traffic and delays near the site.
