Art in the Library: Art from the Earth with Claire Krueger
For this Bon Air workshop, color starts with its source: participants will explore natural pigments, color from plants and what to look for when foraging for materials. The focus is on how environmental materials can become art supplies, not on a published step-by-step craft project.
An exploration of where art materials come from
Presenter Claire Krueger will lead the session. The library description brings together using natural pigments, working with plant color and noticing potential materials while foraging—a set of related questions about sourcing, rather than a named medium or single technique.
The listing does not identify particular plants, recipes, a finished artwork or an outdoor collecting trip. That distinction matters if you are expecting a specific take-home project: foraging is listed as a topic, but the published plan does not promise field collection or a particular result.
