Books are only one part of Baby Storytime at Iroquois Library. The October 31 session also makes room for songs, rhymes, play and movement as part of an early-literacy program for very young children.
A storytime for the youngest readers
The library describes the 45-minute program as a way to encourage interest in reading and build pre-literacy skills. Its mix of activities means families can expect more than a book reading, though the library does not specify the titles or individual songs planned.
The calendar groups the event under a broad infant, toddler and preschool category covering ages 0–5. For this particular session, the description gives a narrower range: infancy through 24 months.
