Botanical Santa is a daytime meet-and-greet for Garden visitors: on four Saturdays, guests can bring a camera and share holiday wishes with a Santa dressed in green. It is included with daytime Garden admission or membership, not a separately ticketed show.
The Garden describes one activity: meeting Botanical Santa, bringing a camera and sharing holiday wishes. Its 10 a.m.–2 p.m. hours are the overall event window; the listing does not give appointment slots or a specific meeting point inside the Garden. Ask Garden staff for directions after you enter.

A handheld phone or standard camera is fine for casual, noncommercial pictures taken by an unpaid photographer during a Garden visit. That kind of photography has no separate reservation or fee, although Garden admission is required. The policy does not allow tripods, lighting, props or other added setup for casual photography without prior permission.
A staged personal shoot is different. Hired photographers, props, tripods, lighting or other equipment require advance arrangements through Special Events; the Garden lists a $500 fee for up to 10 people for two hours, with additional charges for larger groups or longer sessions. Commercial or promotional shoots go through the Marketing Department and may have location fees. The Botanical Santa listing does not confirm a dedicated photographer or formal portrait setup.

Botanical Santa is not Garden Lights, Holiday Nights. The nighttime event is listed for Nov. 14, 2026–Jan. 10, 2027, with its own timed tickets; daytime Garden admission does not cover it. Check Garden Lights’ schedule and ticket terms separately if you hope to visit in the evening.
The Garden also lists its Holiday Model Trains display for Nov. 14, 2026–Jan. 10, 2027. That display is included with daytime admission and Garden Lights admission, but the trains do not run in rain. A different add-on, the Holiday Ride-on Train, is listed for Saturdays and Sundays from Nov. 14, 2026–Jan. 3, 2027, 10 a.m.–2 p.m. It costs $6 per passenger or $4 for members; every passenger needs a ticket, children under 3 must be accompanied by an adult, and the train may not operate in inclement weather.

The Garden says nearly all areas are accessible to wheelchair and scooter users. Complimentary wheelchairs are available at Admissions on a limited, first-come basis and cannot be reserved. Scooters cost $30 plus tax for four hours, with a $5 member discount; quantities are limited and rentals are also first-come. Renters must be at least 21, show a valid driver’s license and photo ID, pay by credit card, and sign a rental agreement. Scooters are not rented in inclement weather. The Santa meeting point is not specified, so these Garden-wide details do not confirm access at that particular setup. For accessibility questions, call 404-876-5859.
