Costumes and candy are only part of the plan at Briarwood Arts Center’s 5th Annual Trunk-or-Treat. The Jackson gathering adds games and prizes under a carnival theme on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
A Halloween gathering with games
The event is aimed at children, with an opportunity to show off costumes alongside the games, prizes and candy. The center has not specified which games will be offered, so families should treat the carnival theme as a guide to the gathering rather than a list of particular attractions.
Trunk-or-Treat is one of the center’s special programs, alongside recurring monthly events. Beyond Halloween, the North Jackson venue offers craft-making courses and spaces used for activities including tutoring and co-working; those are part of its broader work, not announced Trunk-or-Treat activities.

Ways to take part
People who want to contribute can use the sign-up invitation on the center’s website to donate, volunteer or host a trunk. That invitation is for helpers; families planning to attend should contact the center if they need to confirm whether guest registration is required.
Briarwood Arts Center describes itself as predominantly volunteer-operated. Its volunteers assist with a range of work across the organization, including event setup and staffing.
