brightonSEO and Hero Conf San Diego 2027: Dates, Tickets and Training
Organic search and paid-media strategy share the San Diego Convention Center for brightonSEO San Diego & Hero Conf San Diego, scheduled for Sept. 9–10, 2027. A separate full-day training option is listed for Sept. 8, so choosing a ticket means checking whether it covers the conference days, training, or both.
Two parts of a search strategy, under one roof
The joint event brings together two related but distinct areas of digital marketing. brightonSEO’s announced subject range includes SEO, AI, content, digital PR, PPC, paid social and analytics; Hero Conf centers on paid search and paid social. Its San Diego 2027 page names campaign platforms including Google Ads, Meta, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, Amazon Advertising, Reddit and Apple Ads.
That pairing may be useful for people who need to connect organic visibility with paid acquisition, or who work alongside teams responsible for each. It does not yet show how those subjects will be distributed among talks or stages, so the published themes offer a way to judge the event’s general fit—not a session-by-session plan.

Training is a separate day, not an early conference session
Organizers place expert-led, full-day training on Sept. 8, the day before the two conference dates. They describe the format as focused on one subject. The San Diego 2027 pages do not yet name the courses or give training hours, so the 2026 training-course examples elsewhere on the site should not be treated as this edition’s offerings.
Training is included only in particular ticket categories. If a course day is part of your plan, check that the specific pass covers Sept. 8 as well as the conference; a standard two-day conference ticket does not, by its description, include the extra day.

Roundtables and meet-ups are part of the pitch
The organizers also advertise roundtables, community meet-ups, social events, parties and other networking opportunities, alongside an expo. Those elements give the event a broader format than talks alone, but they are not a timed itinerary: specific activities, their hours and the conference’s daily start and end times have not been published.

Compare the two registration pages
The brightonSEO registration page lists a $0 Day Conference ticket, available by request and described as a one-day option. Its listed paid categories are Full Conference + Perks ($550), Full Conference + VIP Perks ($830), Training + Full Conference + Perks ($900) and Full Conference + Perks + Hotel (3 nights) ($1,680). The training category adds the Sept. 8 training day; the hotel category is described as including three nights at a Hyatt. The page says the full-conference tickets provide access to both days of brightonSEO and Hero Conf, with benefits varying by category.
That page also says prices rise Dec. 3, 2026, and advertises automatically applied group discounts for bookings over four tickets, with larger savings for bookings over ten. Confirm the current price and the exact inclusions when booking.
Hero Conf’s separate page lists a Friend Pass at $500 for both conference days and both brands, with networking access and a merch bag or a tree planted. Its $715 BFF Pass also covers both conferences and lists VIP merchandise and reserved front-row seats. The BFF page says lunch is provided Tuesday only; that does not align with the Sept. 9–10 dates shown for this edition, so confirm meal terms with the organizer before relying on them.
Hero Conf also lists a US Conference + Training ticket at $835, with a full training day before the conference, both conference days, networking and a merch bag or tree planted. Its $0 single-day ticket is described as covering one day of both conferences and networking; the page directs readers to apply and sign up for ticket updates. Treat it as an application-based offer, not a guaranteed walk-up ticket. Hero Conf says hotel nights can be added through combo tickets at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego.
Getting to the Convention Center
Transit and downtown connections
The San Diego Convention Center’s attendee guide says two MTS Trolley stops are in front of the building. Downtown is described as walkable, with the Gaslamp Quarter beside the venue and the Embarcadero on its west side. The guide does not identify trolley route numbers; check current service and road updates closer to the event.
The guide places Santa Fe Depot about a one-mile walk away, or reachable by trolley, and lists Amtrak’s Pacific Surfliner and the NCTD COASTER among the services there. Ferry service runs between the Convention Center and Coronado; the venue describes the trip as 15 minutes and directs riders to check schedules and ticketing.
The venue guide estimates the airport is three miles away and 10–15 minutes by car or shuttle. Some hotels offer airport shuttles, so check with your hotel rather than assuming one is included. The guide identifies the airport transportation plaza for taxis and rideshare pickups; at the Convention Center, Guest Services or Security can help flag a taxi.
Driving and parking
The underground Convention Center garage has 1,950 spaces and is entered from Harbor Drive. It has 31 designated accessible stalls with elevator access to the building. There are no in-and-out privileges, and overnight and RV parking are not permitted.
Rates vary with event activity, are set by ACE Parking and are paid upon entry; check current rates rather than planning around a fixed price. The venue also identifies a 2,000-space structure beside the Hilton Bayfront, plus other downtown lots and garages. Availability and rates may differ.
