Rather than centering the hour on one assigned title, Louisville Free Public Library’s BYO LGBT Book Club makes book conversation the focus. The library describes it as a queer space for adults, meeting at Southwest Regional on Oct. 31.
A shared conversation, not a shared assignment
Because no book is required, taking part does not depend on finishing the same reading as everyone else. The listing describes book discussion but names no featured title or specific topic, so visitors should not expect a discussion tied to a particular work.

What “BYO” leaves open
The event title does not settle whether participants are expected to bring a book: the description says no reading is required but gives no instruction about bringing a personal title. If that affects your plans, the branch can be reached at (502) 933-0029.
