At Blackwolf Run, a golf destination in the Sheboygan River Valley, winter brings a different set of activities. Frozen Fairways lists ice skating and curling alongside sledding, snowshoeing and other outdoor pursuits from December through February.
Sledding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and fat-tire biking are permitted only during daylight hours. Saturday and Sunday openings begin at 10 a.m., giving visitors more daytime flexibility than the 3 p.m. Thursday and Friday openings.
The seasonal list also includes hiking, patio games, s’mores by an outdoor fire and holiday light displays. Skating and curling are listed without the daylight-only restriction. Check with the resort if a particular activity or equipment rental is essential to your plans; the activity list does not confirm availability for every visit.

The Frozen Fairways Ugly Sweater Party adds a Tuesday visit on December 22, outside the regular Thursday–Sunday schedule. Its afternoon entertainment splits between a DJ dance party on the ice and karaoke in the curling tent. The organizer asks participants to bring skates for the dance party.
Wear an ugly sweater that day for complimentary admission. The party is a dated holiday event, not a feature of every Frozen Fairways opening.

The Ugly Sweater Party has its own hours and entertainment, separate from the regular weekly schedule.
Regular openings run Thursday through Sunday from December 3, 2026, through February 28, 2027. The December 22 party is an additional opening.

Frozen Fairways is at Blackwolf Run, 1111 West Riverside Drive, Kohler, WI 53044. Kohler’s directions to the village use I-43 exit 126 and WI-23 West, followed by the County Highway Y exit toward Kohler. Use the map link for directions from your starting point to Blackwolf Run.
