Lagers and Joggers makes Fertile Ground Beer Co. both the meeting point and the place to gather after a 5K around Belhaven. The Thursday outing combines a neighborhood run with time to socialize at the brewery.
The event is a run rather than a published race program: participants meet at the brewery, head around Belhaven for 5 kilometers and return for beers and conversation. The listing does not specify the route or pace, or whether there is a walking option. If those details determine whether the outing works for you, call the brewery before going.
Admission is free, but the listing does not say whether drinks are included or whether registration is needed.

Fertile Ground is in Belhaven Town Center, in a renovated building that once housed a laundry facility for Baptist Hospital. The larger building also contains communal space, a restaurant, offices and retail space.
The brewery directory says outside food is welcome, including food from neighboring businesses. It describes the brewery as family-friendly and requires guests to be 21 or older to drink; it does not give a separate age policy for the run.
