Lucy Darling: You're Welcome pairs sleight of hand with musical banter in Hartford
Magic is only part of Lucy Darling’s act. In Lucy Darling: You're Welcome, performer Carisa Hendrix plays a cocktail-loving socialite whose advice and wit share the stage with sleight of hand. The touring variety show comes to The Bushnell on November 6, 2026.
A character with a musical counterpart
Hendrix’s Lucy is an opinionated host as well as a magician, making the show a blend of character comedy and magic rather than a succession of tricks alone. The Hartford listing describes sleight of hand but does not identify specific routines.
Mark Ettinger accompanies Lucy on piano, melodica and other instruments, and their banter is part of the variety-show format. Ettinger is also a composer and a juggler with the Flying Karamazov Brothers; his musical accompaniment, rather than a particular juggling act, is what The Bushnell lists for this production.
