A monster costume has a purpose at Moss Mansion on Halloween: Monster Ball includes an award for the best one, alongside an evening of dancing, drinks and appetizers. The October 31 party makes use of both the historic house and its grounds.
An evening across the mansion and grounds
The party is arranged around two settings. Inside the mansion, themed lounges on different levels are the places for cocktails and appetizers. Outside, the dance floor is under an event tent. DJ Dan of Black-Tie Productions MT provides the music, and guests can also take photobooth pictures.
The costume competition gives the evening a Halloween focus beyond the dance floor. Moss Mansion plans to present the best monster costume award at 9 p.m.; guests who want to compete can plan their evening around it.
