The material is the first choice at October Fall Drop-In Crafts: paint glued wood blocks into a pumpkin, wrap a cardboard pumpkin in yarn, or make a tissue-paper luminary jar. The projects are offered at AMC Collective on Thursdays in October 2026.
Three materials, three approaches
For the Wood Pumpkins, participants glue blocks together and choose their paint colors. The Yarn Pumpkins use a cardboard base instead, with yarn wrapped around it. The Fall Luminary Jar uses fall-colored tissue paper and a battery-operated tea light.
All supplies are included, and beginners are welcome. If one project is your priority, pre-registration is encouraged to help ensure it is available.

Inside a year-round making space
The drop-in crafts take place at a studio that also operates as an artisan marketplace. AMC Collective brings together local artists, makers and crafters, and offers workshops and handmade goods alongside its drop-in activities.
The collective also has a pre-loved supply room with a changing assortment of new and gently used craft materials—a separate stop to consider if you want to browse supplies for projects at home.
