October Fall Drop-In Crafts

Three projects, three approaches

The Wood Pumpkin starts with wood blocks glued together, then painted in colors chosen by the participant. The Yarn Pumpkin uses yarn wrapped around a cardboard base, while the Fall Luminary Jar is decorated with fall-colored tissue paper and finished with a battery-operated tea light.

That range makes the choice a matter of which process appeals: assembling and painting, wrapping, or covering a jar with paper. The listing presents the crafts as options rather than steps in a single project.

A seasonal activity at a year-round creative studio

AMC Collective describes itself as a year-round artisan marketplace and creative studio, with local makers, handmade goods and crafting activities. This drop-in is one of its hands-on offerings; the event listing says supplies are included and no previous craft experience is necessary.

Preregistration is encouraged to help ensure the selected project is available, although the listing does not say registration is required. It gives no project price or admission terms. For questions, the event page lists 605-310-3158.
