Paul Anka’s work has traveled under more than one name: “Diana” established him as a chart-topping singer, while other songs reached audiences through performers including Frank Sinatra and Tom Jones. That range frames his Nov. 7, 2026, booking at Premier Theater at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, listed for 7 p.m. The event page does not specify what he will perform.
Anka first rose to prominence with “Diana,” which reached No. 1 on both the Canadian and U.S. charts. It is a useful starting point for listeners thinking of him as a recording artist: the song’s success came before his writing credits for other performers became another major part of his career.
That distinction matters when weighing a concert listing. Anka’s history includes both songs associated with his own recordings and writing that became familiar through someone else’s performance; the local event announcement does not indicate which part of that history will shape the evening.

Anka wrote the English lyrics for Frank Sinatra’s signature song “My Way.” Separately, he wrote “She’s a Lady,” a hit for Tom Jones, and the theme for The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Those credits connect his work to a singer, a hit performer and a television program, extending the picture beyond his own chart singles.
The songwriting history offers context for Anka’s career, not a forecast of the Foxwoods program. The event listing names no specific songs, themed format or additional performers.
