The Ramazinis Circus Holiday Show takes place in a park built above a freeway: Klyde Warren Park is a 5.4-acre deck connecting Uptown, the Arts District and downtown Dallas. The family circus is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 13, in the park’s Sheila and Jody Grant Children’s Park.
Klyde Warren Park sits over Woodall Rodgers Freeway, creating a public green space between several central Dallas districts. Sheila and Jody Grant Children’s Park, the show’s listed location, is one part of that larger park.
The park opened in 2012. Its history describes an ambition to make a shared place in central Dallas where families from different neighborhoods could meet and spend time together. That civic setting gives the circus booking a context beyond a stand-alone performance.

There is no attendant on duty. Dogs and high heels are prohibited in Children’s Park, and the park warns that equipment and surfaces can become hot in the sun.
