The windows are the attraction at 2026 Window Wonderland: downtown Fargo businesses are invited to create holiday displays, and visitors can vote for their favorites from November 20 through December 5.
Window Wonderland is organized around individual storefronts rather than a single exhibition inside Broadway Square. The square is the location on the event listing, but participating businesses, display addresses and a viewing route have not yet been announced. Check the event page before setting out if you want to plan a particular walk.
The Downtown Community Partnership says voting links are coming soon. Its registration button is directed at downtown businesses that want to decorate and participate; it is not described as a visitor ticket.

The voting period begins on the first night of Folkways Christkindlmarkt, a separate event at Fargo Civic Center, 207 4th St. It runs over two weekends, November 20–22 and 27–29, with a gift market, an outdoor winter area and a Bier Hall with Drekker Brewing Company. Folkways also lists food, music and art demonstrations.
For a later visit, the Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade falls on the last night of voting. It begins at 6:30 p.m. on December 5; that is the parade start, not a published cutoff time for viewing windows or casting a vote.
