A salami rose is one of the techniques on the table at Charcuterie Board 101, a two-hour class that pairs cheese tasting with a collaborative food project. The session takes place Monday, November 2, 2026, at The 1889 Fargo.
Participants will sample five cheeses and learn about choosing accompaniments for them. Instructor Lana and the team also guide the class through presentation, including shaping ingredients and considering how colors and textures work together.
The practical project is a full charcuterie board made by two participants, with enough food planned for up to ten people. You can eat the finished board at The 1889 and take any leftovers home. The organizers describe the class as naturally gluten-free.
