Fowler brings more than two decades of experience in music and the arts to his hosting role. He is a songwriter and professional background vocalist whose work also includes teaching, music direction and promotion. His performance background includes opening for and singing behind gospel and R&B artists, as well as work with hip-hop and R&B artist Rod Wave.
Visit Baltimore also describes Fowler’s support for emerging artists in Baltimore, the wider DMV and beyond. That mentoring is part of his broader practice, rather than a separately announced part of the Christmas concert.
