LACMA lists the all-ages drop-in for Saturday, Nov. 14, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; the activity for that date has not been specified.

All times are local to the venue · America/Los Angeles
At Boone Children’s Gallery, visitors can try making art without prior experience. LACMA describes a welcoming, hands-on format, but has not announced what participants will make on Nov. 14—so this is a better fit for a flexible family visit than for anyone seeking a particular project or technique.
The gallery’s recurring workshops are led by teaching artists and education assistants who can help visitors get started. LACMA’s general invitation mentions a brush or pencil, but the Nov. 14 listing does not identify that day’s materials, method, teaching artist or finished project.
That distinction matters if you are choosing the visit for a specific craft or skill. Check LACMA’s events calendar for any update to the workshop theme; the museum notes that schedules can change.

LACMA welcomes babies, caregivers, teens, grandparents and other visitors to Boone Children’s Gallery. The invitation is not framed as an activity only for children, and the museum says no art experience is needed.
The gallery is inside the W.M. Keck Education Center, which LACMA describes as a home for hands-on learning, creativity and family programs. Boone has been part of that family offering since opening in 2009; the museum reports that it has welcomed more than 800,000 visitors.

The calendar places the date within Boone Children’s Gallery’s recurring drop-in workshop program. It does not name a separate class, theme or activity for this session.
The event listing gives this drop-in window at the W.M. Keck Education Center. Boone workshops are regularly listed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.; days and times can change, so check LACMA’s calendar before setting out.

The workshop’s free admission does not establish whether a general-admission ticket is needed just to reach the Education Center. Ask LACMA if the workshop is your only stop. For a broader museum visit, LACMA recommends advance timed-entry tickets; walk-up tickets are available, but time slots may sell out or be unavailable.
