Intergalactic Skate Party at Skate City Springs: Jan. 2, 2027
An interstellar costume is the prompt for Skate City Springs’ Jan. 2 party, but the timing has a practical wrinkle: the event is listed for two hours, while the skating itself is a one-hour timed session.
A costume night in the rink’s seasonal calendar
Guests are invited to dress as an interstellar character and skate while a DJ carries the theme. The event listing also mentions hot cocoa; Skate City Springs’ season page says guests who dress for a themed night receive a free cup.
The party is one of the rink’s Saturday themed nights during the 2026–27 season, which runs Nov. 13 through Jan. 18. The season page names other Saturday themes, including K-Pop Vibe and Pajama Party, but the Jan. 2 listing confirms this event’s intergalactic theme.

A timed skate, not two hours on the ice
The event runs 8–10 p.m., but Skate City Springs describes the ice time as a one-hour timed session. The listing does not say which hour falls within that window. The rink advises arriving 10–15 minutes before the booked session to collect skates and dressing warmly.
For newer skaters, the season page says free Skate Helpers can assist with balance. It does not give session-specific instructions for finding them at this party.

One themed skating session
The posted program centers on skating in interstellar dress while a DJ carries the theme. The listing does not give separate set times for the DJ.

Price and sale date are not listed
The event page says tickets will go on sale soon but gives neither an event-specific price nor an on-sale date. Skate rental is included. Online reservations are recommended because capacity is limited; walk-ups are welcome, subject to availability. The rink recommends calling (404) 890-6690 to check before making a walk-up visit.

Regular weekend prices are a reference, not a confirmed party price
For the 2026–27 season, Skate City Springs lists Friday–Sunday admission at $18 per hour for adults and $15 per hour for children ages 2–9, with skate rental included. The event listing does not confirm those rates for this party. The season page says tickets are nonrefundable, but does not establish whether that condition applies to the party.
