Open Mic Comedy in the Cellar has two different propositions: listeners can attend a free, 21+ show, while would-be performers can sign up for a brief set without a guarantee of getting onstage. The listing gives the format and timing, but no comedian names for the next date.
The event listing allows for as many as 25 comedians, with sets lasting three or five minutes. That is a maximum, not a promise that 25 people will perform; the listing explicitly says stage time is not guaranteed.
Sign-up begins at 7:30 p.m., before the 8 p.m. show. Anyone considering performing should treat sign-up as a chance to be considered, not confirmation of a slot. The published details do not explain how performers are selected or assigned a set length.

No comedians are named in the listing for Wednesday, Nov. 4. That makes the open-mic format, rather than a particular advertised performer, the useful guide for deciding whether this show fits the evening.
The event is listed for every Wednesday night, and Nov. 4 is the next occurrence shown. That date’s listing gives an 8–10 p.m. window; the recurring-event details separately state that the show starts at 8 p.m.
