Phone-Camera Flower Photography at Atlanta Botanical Garden
A flower photo on a phone involves more than choosing a subject: light, framing, lens options and a small edit can all change the image. Smartphone Flower Photography puts those decisions at the center of an all-levels workshop led by Atlanta School of Photography director Sara Keith at Atlanta Botanical Garden.
Work with the camera already in your pocket
The Garden describes a practical session photographing its grounds with a smartphone. Its announced topics range from phone-specific features and tips—including ones for Apple and Samsung devices—to lighting, composition, lens choices and simple edits. That makes the class relevant to people who want to understand what their current phone can do, rather than learn on a separate camera system.
The Garden says photographers of all experience levels are welcome. It does not name a required phone model, editing app, extra lens attachment or finished project, so attendees should not assume they need particular equipment or software.

An Atlanta photography educator leads the class
The Garden identifies the instructor as Sara Keith, director and owner of Atlanta School of Photography. Her event biography says she earned a bachelor’s degree in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design and minored in film and television. It also lists photography and consulting clients including the Woodruff Arts Center, Delta, Inspire Brands, US Bank, Mailchimp and Ponce City Market.
The school’s staff roster lists its director as Sara Keith Jones and associates her with workshops. The Garden uses Sara Keith for this event; both forms appear in the sources.

A class registration is different from a photo-shoot reservation
The Garden’s general policy allows casual personal pictures with a handheld smartphone without a separate photography reservation or fee, but admission is still required. That policy does not replace registration for this scheduled class. The workshop listing does not say whether its fee includes Garden admission, so check that before completing your plans.
The Garden’s guidance says tripods, lighting equipment, props and other added setup require prior permission. If you are considering bringing anything beyond a handheld phone, check with the Garden first. Visitors must stay on designated paths and may not touch or handle plants.

The choices behind a phone photograph
The announced topics connect phone-specific tips with lighting and composition, then consider what a different lens or a simple edit can change. The Garden describes the workshop as all-levels; it does not publish a timed lesson sequence.
