A gelli plate, paper and a mix of layered marks are the tools for Art For Two: Paired Printmaking. The Dec. 4 workshop at AMFA’s Windgate Art School is designed for two adults, with each person making a finished print of their own.
Participants use a gelli plate for monoprinting, building an image on paper with color, stencils and found objects. AMFA describes the resulting prints as one of a kind, so the activity is centered on composing an individual image rather than producing identical copies.
The class is beginner-friendly: materials are included, and no previous printmaking skills are required. Lily Warren is the listed instructor for this edition.

The paired format is for two people, but each participant takes home a finished piece. That distinction makes the workshop suitable for two people who want to work alongside one another without having to collaborate on a single final image.
This is one evening in AMFA’s Art For Two series. The scheduled activity for this edition is paired printmaking.
