OH! MARY! Acting Workshop at Kerry Hall: STG’s 2026–27 Series
For the Nov. 7 session, the assignment is a monologue rather than a song: participants will perform a brief piece for tips and feedback from a cast member of OH! MARY!’s national touring company. That makes this date a distinct acting-focused choice in Seattle Theatre Group’s Broadway Vocal Performance Workshop Series.
A different kind of preparation
STG describes the series as a monthly opportunity for local singers to work with local, national and Broadway guest artists. The November installment is explicitly an acting performance workshop for local theatre artists, so its focus differs from what the series title alone might suggest.
Participants are invited to prepare a monologue lasting 30 seconds to one minute, perform it and receive tips, critique and feedback. The listing specifies a cast member from the OH! MARY! national touring company as the instructor, but does not name that person.

Show themes, with an availability caveat
The later dates are tied to show titles, but STG says participation by artists associated with those productions depends on show approval and availability. If a guest cannot take part, a local artist may lead a class inspired by the show. That general caveat does not replace the more specific November listing, which names a touring-company cast member for the acting workshop.

An arts-education venue on Capitol Hill
Kerry Hall was built in 1921 and served as the original home of Cornish College of the Arts in the early 1920s. Seattle Theatre Group, now the building’s owner, says it is preserving the hall for public use and community-centered arts programming. The workshop therefore takes place in a venue with a documented connection to arts education in Seattle.

The listed dates extend into July 2027
STG calls the series monthly, but the published dates include two December sessions and no sessions in February or May. The Oct. 10 Water for Elephants date on the event page has already passed; Nov. 7 is the next listed session. November is explicitly marked as an acting workshop, while the later listings use show titles as themes.
