A painting class can begin with attention to more than the surface in front of you. At Drop-in Expressive Painting and Yoga, Lo Patt brings body awareness and artmaking together in a three-hour workshop at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts on November 1, 2026.
Patt, a Little Rock artist and certified yoga instructor, guides a blend of gentle yoga, mindful movement and intuitive artmaking. Participants make paintings and visual artworks while exploring how attention to the body and breath might inform the marks they make.
The workshop is an invitation to experiment rather than a class requiring prior training in either discipline. Art materials are provided, though participants need to bring their own yoga mat.
